Moving Secondary Fixed Primary Single Sided Linear Induction Motor
- As from the name suggests, in this type of linear motor the secondary is moving and the primary is fixed as shown in the Figure
- The operating principle is same as that of that the above Moving Primary Fixed Secondary Single Sided LIM.
- The only difference is in the construction. In this type, the fixed primary is placed below the movable secondary as shown in the Figure
- In above both types i.e. Moving Primary Fixed Secondary & Moving Secondary Fixed Primary Single Sided LIMS depends on whether primary or secondary is shorter.
- As per the performance is consider, both type of motors are performing equally.
