Operation of Fire Extinguisher

• A detailed note on all fire-extinguisher is printed in Red and white or Red and Black pains on the cylinder of the extinguisher, Prior to use it, read carefully the instructions.
  
• There is a contract of maintenance by the supply company, The maintenance may be monthly, quarterly or years. Inspectors inspect the cylinders, their mechanical linkages of operation, may refill the chemical if needed.
• In the organizations, offices, big buildings the inspector is expected to train some young persons / group of persons and give a trial on the open-ground to sease the fire in the fire- pit artificially created. 

Operation of fire extinguisher-Printed on the cylinder:

• Water filled extinguishers most be protected against frost damage. Always check the operating instructions on the cylinder before use.
• The chemical charge should be replaced if it is too old. (call the representative of supplier). Always ventilate thoroughly after extinguishing an indoor-extinguisher.
• Gas tightness should be ensured and gaskets should be renewed if required.
