Applications of Geothermal Fluid for Low Temperature Systems
- The heat of geothermal fluid available at low temperature can be utilized by heating liquid or air in a heat exchanger.
- The thermal fluid after transferring heat is re-injected through a well into the ground.
- The hot liquid or air so heated can be utilized for various applications like space heating and cooling, as a process heat in industries like textile, paper mills etc.
- It can also be utilised as heat source for feed water heating in a conventional power plant, production of biogas, drying of timber, drying of cotton, drying of agricultural products etc.
