- The main objective of testing is to know the quality of the machine, quality of materials used for manufacturing the machine and also to check its behavior and performance as per the design data.
- The various results obtained during testing should tally with the design data.
- The variation in the actual results if any should be within the specified allowable limits.
- If actual results are beyond the specified limits then the manufacturer should investigate the reasons and improve the design and manufacturing process accordingly.
- To check the improved design by retesting of machine.
